Portraits are taken using small batch film and made with century old equipment. Not every photo will come out “perfect” and thats what makes this process so unique and exciting. What some call imperfections we call character. Be prepared for unexpected spots, marks, discoloration, etc.
The camera and lenses we work with have a very shallow depth of field so the focus works best on single or couple portraits. We are happy to try to squeeze in big groups and have done so in the past but it will result in a loss of focus.
